Oh. Hey man.

Whoops. It's been a while since I uploaded anything. Whatevs, bro. But hey, here's what's been happening. Lomovember came and went, and I had a few shots up on the wall (for instance, the one below). Heck, one of them even won me a prize - a Lomo fisheye camera. Rad.

I was also asked to take some photos for the Beaufort St Festival a few weekends back. I'm getting these printed today, fingers crossed they don't look like turdburgers.

So, it's been a while since I last uploaded something. Whoops. Anyhoo, here's a shot of GW that I took at my folks' place.

While we were in New Zealand, we managed to sneak away for a couple of hours and visit some rapids. Intense, bro.

Saturday afternoon.

It was a sunny afternoon, so we packed a lunch, pumped up the footy and went to Hyde Park for a bite and a kick. My good lady friend and Dannowan Extreme were Fremantle. I was the Eagles. Let's just say I lost by a considerable margin.

New Zealand.

I was in New Zealand for work a couple of weeks ago, and on our day off, we thought we'd go for a drive through the countryside. Our mission was simple: find the most epic landscapes we possibly could. So we crammed into the crappiest little piece of shit hire vehicle Europcar could give us, and away we went, off to find the most menacing mountains New Zealand has to offer.

Six (or was that seven?) hours later, we stumbled across a humble little abode, surrounded by two volcanoes. Oh, and apparently, where the 'End of the World' battle in Lord of the Rings was filmed. Nice.

Victoria Bitter.

West Perth is a pretty tame location (do not even try to find something to eat after 2pm). However, there's an interesting old building not too far from where I work. And it has a pretty neat Victoria Bitter sign to boot.

Oriental Foods.

Taken a while back on Beaufort Street. This store is long gone, now it's full of wallpaper. The type of wallpaper that I assume hip money-making Mount Lawley people would buy.

Mundaring Weirdo.

This was from a while back when my old pal Owenmaster and I went on a treck to Mundaring Weir. Now I have a car, maybe I can repay the favour.

Gnarabup.

During the summer break I went to Gnarabup with my good lady friend and Dannowan Extreme to relax by the beach and watch The Goonies about fifty times (turns out Mr Extreme enjoyed this film very much).

I took my Diana Mini and got a handful of super lo-fi shots that turned out ok. Like this one.

More adventures in Silverlake.

This was taken when we got our taxi driver to drop us off a little further from where we wanted to go, and ended up in a Hispanic part of town. It sure beat the glam of West Hollywood, and I'm glad we ended up there. Even if it was by accident.
